Newtons Cradle is a light installation, which is an easy-to-understand exhibition show-stopper with a highlighted button to start the performance of the pendulum. A piezo sensor triggers the installation by simply knocking on the highlighted spot. Through its strong lights and rich contrasts, it invites the visitors to become part of the performance and see the immediate impact of their activity. It is a modern technological reference to Newton's pendulum, which found its way into people's homes as a decorative object in the late 1990s.
